John Higgins

As the Managing Editor of Tech, John spends his days investigating and dissecting all manner of tech. He is an ISF Level III-certified calibrator with bylines at ProjectorCentral, Wirecutter, IGN, Home Theater Review, T3, Sound & Vision, and Home Theater Magazine covering TVs, projectors, speaker systems, AVRs, monitors, consoles, and peripherals. He received his BM with audio production from Ithaca College and a MM in keyboard collaborative arts from the University of Southern California. Apart from playing with (and reviewing) loads of audio and video gear, he's edited and mixed sound for films, music directed theatrical productions, taught high school choir, and recorded a few albums.
